  1. Stock VS MRA, it's pretty much higher and does a great job, however i could only get it in dark, but fair enough for me, i wanted the protection so i'm happy thanks for all the helps folks! :) I have to ask: Does anyone know a good place near Gdansk that can adjust springs/rebound/shock-absorbers etc for my weight? Take care folks! :)
  2. well in that case i will present a review here of what i think about the MRA screen. however. a double bubble should make a difference :D
  3. The stock screen is short, i just was at moto-akcesoria and ordered my things. i hope it will be good. I a'm going to do some touring this summer so it seems like an fair idea to improve the screen for the longer high-way parts of the tour and in general for the highway. and i guess it wont be any problem at low speeds when aerodynamics doesn't matter as much. But thanks for the "review" of the screen. i a'm shorter than you (175cm) so hopefully it will increase my comfort quiet a lot when going at greater speeds for long distances. Best regards Jesper - Gdansk
  4. are you satisfied with the screen compared to the original? did it do much to wind or just slight improvement? pretty much our bikes are very similar so that's why i a'm asking. best regards
  5. i was at larsson today and they don't have anything except original visor for nolan N85/86 so they recommended Allegro. However i just found out that moto-accesoria next to larsson here in Gdansk sell nolan and MRA screen for my bike. i shall go there tomorrow and ask them if they can get it home to the store for me (it will cost 336 + 214 zl in total so maybe 30-40zl more expensiver then allegro prices i found for at least the visor i want (silver + mirror, not road legal race visor). http://www.moto-akcesoria.pl/szybka-pinlock-do-kaskow-motocyklowych-nolan-n8586-srebrna,p,66513 http://www.moto-akcesoria.pl/szyba-mra-do-suzuki-gsx-r-600750-08--czarna-forma-racing,p,24923 Do you think the prices seems okay? or is it a scam compared what one might expect on allegro?
  6. can you help me with some search words that lead me to double bubble screens? Szyba is Glass as far as i understood it
  7. Hello there, i have survived on my poor polish so far but now when i a'm in search for a bit more specific stuff thing get's worse for me. i a'm looking for a few items and i think i have found a store online that might have what i need. * a double bubble screen for Suzuki GSX-R 600/750 2008-2010 This is what i want when i read the description in english http://www.bikehps.com/acatalog/Suzuki_GSXR750_2008-2010_MRA_Double_Bubble_Racing_Screens.html This is what i found here: ---> http://www.motocyklove.pl/pl/p/Szyba-MRA-Racing-Screen-do-Suzuki-GSX-R-750-08-10-przyciemniona/6269 Is that a double bubble screen or do i need to look for another screen? * an Race visor for my Nolan N86. ---> http://www.motocyklove.pl/pl/p/Szybka-do-Nolan-N85N86-srebrna/2185 Does anyone know any other stores i might give a look before ordering? Best regards Jesper - Gdansk
  8. Oh by the way, is it open from "now" or is there a special month they begin? I see on the calendar that the coming week have an event planned on saturday, would that mean that they probably are open from sort of "now" ah, i had a look but it seemed quiet outdated (most threads) or is that just how it is in general? :S well thanks for the hint! perhaps i'll create a thread there if there might be someone interested in joining me and my friends when we go there :) cheers!
  9. haha, "those bastards" ^^ Well thanks man! how nice! i guess i'll just e-mail them some time a head and tell them and wait for an confirmation. should i stick to english, or try with bad polish?
  10. i got an anwser from kartodrom "Welcome, - rental karts - cycling - riding a motorcycle - motoring I greet Krzysztof" well, that answer indicate me that english might be a downside or maybe he's old fashioned and just answer with very short amount of text =)
  11. hey man. this tracks u posted, how do i know when their season starts :S I tried to translate the homepage and e mailed them, no answer yet thou best regards :)
  12. ah i see. well i have one of the common insurance companies i think. PZU "OC" so i dont really know what is included. well to be honest i just pay and smile since i dont really understand what insurance i got except it's good priced and is a traffic insurance =) but okey, then it seems fine for me. all riding are a own risk, we are on the track and therefore we all take the risk of crashing and so on
  13. i have a european health insurance card for medical care, it's obliged for us to study here in poland, also we have an additional insurance covered by the school but i don't know what that covers, at least we are medically insured. But concerning to the materials like bike and gear no insurance is needed? nor any race insurance ? in sweden it's very different, there are free track days but in general those are for educated track riders, the phase is fast and most on the track have a lot of experience. those who conduct normal trackdays for everyone requiers you to have a racing insurance (it will cover 3rd part damages, like if you hurt someone that is not on the track and then we have SMC (SwedishMotorCyclists) that is an educational organization where your Traffic insurance is valid during their training courses. so then if you crash and have full insurance the insurance company covers it and so on. however that is an agreement between SMC and the swedish insurance companies. But nothing like that exist here / in general in poland? so if i get it right, you ride at your own risk
  14. Thanks =) those tracks seems fair! One question, do you need to have a special track day insurance in poland or is all riding at ur own risk?
  15. it's been workin fine atm but when we have time i guess we would do it propperly with an real relay. i have a question, are relay more or less universal or do we have to find a model specific to his bike?
  16. Hello and sorry for english, i hope most of you understand :-) Me and my friend live in Gdansk and ride bikes, however we would like to go to any kind of track for either education or just pay and ride, small tracks or real tracks doesn't really mater. just so we can have some fun and ride "fast" in an safe environment, like an gocart track or a real racetrack. Does anyone know where the closest ones is? the ones i know is the racetrack in Poznan, but that is almost to far away. but anything within 150km (+- a few 10's km) would be fair Cheers to ya all and ride safe // Jesper
  17. thanks for all answer, we solved it in another way (paralell connection to the old indicators). the problem is that he is using the stock indicators rear, how would that work with the relay? or is it universal not matter what resistance you have in the lamps? we are going to do it properly later when we have more equiptment but for now it will work. thanks for all answers =)
  18. części elektroniczne gdańsk and sklep elektroniczny was the search words i was looking for, thank you so much guys, found plenty of stores that both provided resistors and relays, we will visit some of them tomorrow and see if they can help us find a nice solution
  19. Hello dear members on the forum, sorry for taking this in english but my polish skills aint good! :) hope you understand! My friend bought a pair of mirrors with led indicators build in and we need resistors for them, but where should we be looking for that? is costorama and so on stores for that or do we need to find special stores? - we live in Gdansk just to make sure i'll submit a picture so it is clear of what i want Best regards Jesper Nielsen Andersson
  20. hello :) well, didn't ride so much this year due to studies. but i went to hel(l) and back 2 twice and well, mainly adjacent to aleja grunwaldzka. but i'm fairly familiar with the roads now, the only thing is to ride in Gdynia, i'm not so familliar with those roads, but next season i have to go there during some dusk / night when there is lesser traffic so i get better to find my way there (importance for me since i travel to the ferry) Must say: the bike parts are very good priced here. i bought a new tyre and repacked my front shockabsorbers for: 350(tyre, mich. pilot pwr 2) and 400 for the changing + all parts for the chockabsorbers (this time, only the gaskets needed change). that is something that costs maybe 2000-2500zl to do in sweden (tyre + work + shockabsorbers) but the expensive part in sweden is the work hours
  21. Thank you A lot. i will give this link to my friend. this is about the range i thought it would cost (i told him 700-900zl)
  22. Hello, i'm sorry for not typing in polish but my polish is so bad. Anyways, A friend of mine is attending bike-school here in gdansk and hopefully is getting his A2 license this year. We have to get him an A2 bike and we have some options and wounder, Where should we go to restrict it, and what could we expect it to cost It doesn't matter if they just make it on paper or if they really restrict it, We are going to have it de-restricted immediately after it have the new power (35kw) on the paper so he might ride it. Best regards Jesper from Sweden (medical student in Gdansk)
  23. oh are you sure about the speed  i'm so sorry by all of my heart   . yeah i think there is better roads. While i was "lost" the evening before i went to hel i found some really nice roads, but i don't know where i was, but wow it was nice! maybe i should go out ride and get lost again to find some nice roads hehe
