  1. I took the S6, but before i went to Gdynia (just to check how to choose road) and i went kinda lost after gdynia, but i found some Really nice roads, i even think i got to rewa, but i'm not sure about that. Well =) The roads to hel was nice, but hel itself wasn't that much to see, but now i've been there at least =)! i less or more stuck with my plan and went to Rumia/Reda/puck Maybe i missed some important things in Hel? =) well i didn't stop, i just drove around most of the roads i could find and then i headed home again. the road i most liked was the one with this view (to the left)
  2. Oh ^^ let all new A2 bikers move to Germany! :D that sounds nice!. but you got what i meant atleast! it's a shame that you may not have more then 70kw. but i have my thought about why: It's to keep young people from the bike bikes (that they usually will Tune to original power or more even if they are only allowed to drive restricted). There was a problem with this in sweden before. the old system was: 16-18: A1: Max 11kw (very few i know had less than that, i think the Aprilia RS125 etc have around 20-25kw stock) 18-21: A(restricted) Max 25kw (any bike you want) about 90% of all in this category removed the restriction on their bikes (R6/1 etc) 21---> A (no restriction) so even if the people between 18-21 had restricted bikes (on the paper) it was so in the reality that all had none restricted bikes. Was there ever a system with max 25kw in poland before? (just curious)
  3. Indeed, who cares =) haha! 100zl is not that bad (it's some 500zl in sweden or something). ah so you meet him! =) Thanks alot for info Jesper
  4. =) oh hey there "school mate"! That is correct, next to the R1 (my friends). The parking i did there (except we are passing some signs that say you may not pass this sign to get to it) is that a Legal way or a'm me and my friend illegal by parking there at the library?. since you are around here. for example parking at the bicycle parking spots outside Madison (if you know what i mean). but okey Give all good space (1.5m or more), avoid to ride on it (same as sweden, thou you may never park on it). "Push it"? Please explane (im lissening)
  5. Ah, i will try to explane. In sweden you can Restrict a bikes so you will be able to drive them on the new category A2 (max 35kw) but the rule is max 70kw in original (so all bikes like R6 and race bikes is not able to use on the A2 licence). But the bikes like FZ6 / Hornet 600 / Bandit 600 / GSR 600 / and some more, are sport-touring bikes (even comes as nude models). and in my Opinion it's some of the best bikes to start with (if you want a sport bike it's a good option for a beginner), this bikes is on the limit (they have 71kw and more = Not legal to use on A2) I wounder less or more, what is the rule here in poland? Is it the same as in sweden or can you take an R1 and restrict it to 35kw and then drive it on A2 licence? I hope i made it more clear! =)
  6. Sorry for writing this in english, but i'm new in your country and i would like to know how to park my bike, without getting a ticket for parking it in a wrong way. Today i'm just parking my bike wherever i want (as long as i'm not making it hard for others to pass me). So far it has worked but i'm considering to do it the legal way so i don't get any fines if a parking guard don't want to let me park it where i park it. Most important Question: Is it allowed to park the bike where you park your Bicycle (in sweden where i come from it's illegal and you get fines if you do that). I live in Gdansk, so thanks for understanding of my chooise of language. Best regards Jesper N.A SWE
  7. Interesting Thread! sorry for writing in english (i use Google/translate to read polish). I have to say it's the same "problem" among all of Europe (It's rules from the EU-parlament) and in sweden we are facing the same problem as you. but the worst thing is that you are not allowed to drive and Fazer/FZ6/Hornet/bandit anymore, and they are truly very good bikes for the beginner, they are agile and fairly gentle with the power. In sweden it's allowed to Restrict bikes. for example: You have an Kawasaki ER6 with about 50kw. So with the new A2 you are not allowed to drive it. but you restrict it to 35kw and all is fine. But.. The law says, the bike you are restricting must not be restricted to less then 50% of the original power (simple math, 35*2 = 70kw ~95hk). The consequense of this will be that all good starterbikes mentioned before goes out of the category (they have around 71-72kw, 98hk). I'm woundering, does anyone know if it is the same rules here in poland? Since i have some friends that live here and they want to start ride bike with me (but they are around 21...) Hope you understand me, if not write in polish and i'll try to translate it =)! Best regards Jesper N.A SWE
  8. Thanks, i will check that up on Google maps to get an idea of how to get there. and say thanks and hello to your Friend
  9. Well, then it sounds like an interesting place to go to. I will go there for sure. BTW: i'm looking for some nice country roads to practice cornering, but i have hard to find any at all, and when i find, the road is so bad it's not worth going over 40km/h
  10. ah, i see. So the roads, well biking here in poland (eg throught gdansk-gdynia) isn't that slow i think, people let bikes pass quiet frequently (compare to sweden where all tries to be cops and tell others all wrong they do and block them from doing so, and yes, lane-splitting is what i'm talking about). But let's say i chooise the "city" roads, will it be any worse after Gdynia in compare to the road gdansk-sopot-gdynia? About Cameras, what happens if you are speeding with a bike againts em here? In sweden nothing happens Because they cannot Prove who was riding the bike (the fine never goes to owner, always to the one breaking the law). Ty for answer! Regards Jesper
  11. Hi there bikers! i'm pretty new at this forum and does not yet master the language Polish, therefore Google/Translate is the only way for me to translate what you write. Therefor i appreciate responds in English =) I'm as the title says a'm attending to do a small trip by myself and explore the coast-line. and i was looking a bit on google maps for roads and targets for the small trip. and i Find a place that looks to have very nice nature and so (atleast compare to the roads in gdansk-gdynia). I'm not attending to ride fast, but at a decent speed, but i don't know what Quality i should expect from the roads. My plan is: From Gdansk To HEL (L) and back, it's a journey for about 100+100km. Does anyone near Gdansk know anything about the roads there/ is it recommended or would you recommend me to not ride there.
