  1. Thank you, I will try to do the “spark thing” later in the night, and will update you if I see anything. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. You are right, i don’t know much about mechanics, but I’m trying my best and also I’m trying to have some fun :) I used to work (free probation) at Honda service shop for 2 months, and that’s my “major” experience with mechanics. The bike when I bought it was supposed to have fuel problem - leaking carbs. So I replaced the gaskets and then other leaking spots showed up. Previous owner didn’t start the bike for 2 years and supposedly nothing major was wrong with it. I’ve already replaced every fluid, checked breaks, chain, shocks so it’s just the misfire problem right now. I have a good service shop nearby me and it’s not expensive, but I would much rather to learn some stuff myself other that giving it to someone to do the job. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I’ve managed to make a cable a bit longer but still it runs weird. Any suggestions or should I just give it to a mechanic shop. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. When my gas cable is taken off (behind the carbs) it idles with quiet a bit of backfire, as shown in video above. When the cable is connected, the idle is around 4K rpm. The line is basically connected as low as possible, and the idle adjustment “pipe” (idk how it’s called) is set to be around 1.6-2k rpm. That’s why I assume the line might be bad or it’s running too rich Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. The carbs are relatively clean, but I don’t know if they are adjusted properly. The tape which I used is currently working perfectly. I don’t have a Jb weld in my country, so I can’t use it as well. The only thing left which I can think of beside poorly adjusted carbs is the linkage. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Not tonight, i will look for it laterThank you for the hint Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk So, I’ve checked all the bolts and they all have a gasket on them. I’ve fixed the leakage. The part that I assumed was actually leaking, so I wrapped it with a bit of Teflon tape. But there’s another problem, it’s running rather too rich or the timing is way off. I will put a video of it running later. Thanks for your help by the way, I really appreciate it. 7. Thank you, I will give you a sign soon if it worked.Take care ;) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. I really want to avoid replacing the whole system, because it’s waay overpriced. But if there won’t be any solution I will have no choice. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. The oring should be on there? Or you mean another place Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. The repair kit is OEM so it shouldn’t be faulty. The lines could be the problem as they are not exactly “fuel lines”, but they fit pretty tight. I will post a picture from where I think it’s leaking in a minute. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk *excuse the dirti [emoji29]* Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. I need some help with my 1981 Suzuki gs450... So when I bought the bike it was supposed to be clean, “running” bike, that was just seating and not being stared for 2 years. After I bought it I saw that I have a fuel leak. I replaced every possible seal/gasket in the carbs and the petcock. I don’t have a leak from carbs now but the petcock is still sweating. I have no clue why. (Here’s my GS) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Suzuki GS450

Witam, poszukuje zestawu naprawczego do gaźników (1981 suzuki gs450) niestety nigdzie nie udało mi się takowego znaleźć. Czy taki zestaw z lat 85-87 będzie kompatybilny z moim rocznikiem? Pozdrawiam Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Witam, posiadam suzuki gs 450 z 1981 roku i potrzebuje znaleźć do niej 2 rzeczy - najlepiej oryginalna service manual oraz zestaw naprawczy do gaźników. Dzięki i pozdrawiam
